Crews searching Lake Michigan for missing boyBy Jim Pinkerton
PORTER COUNTY — Rescue crews are searching the waters of Lake Michigan looking for a boy who disappeared.
The Department of Natural Resources says it's in recovery mode. The 10-year-old boy was last seen swimming in the water at Porter Beach around 2 p.m. Saturday.
Rescue crews had to suspend diving operations. They say rip currents in the water are just too strong. We'll continue to keep you updated on this developing story.
